| Shari's Berries was founded in 1989 when Shari Fitzpatrick decided to pursue her dream of creating the world's greatest chocolate dipped strawberries. The concept for Shari's Berries came about while Shari was working as a mortgage broker. As a broker, she began giving realtors baskets of chocolate dipped strawberries to get their attention and gain their business.
The gifts were so popular, Shari decided to open her own business and began assembling baskets laden with chocolate dipped strawberries from a one-bedroom condo in Sacramento, California. Shari leased kitchen space to create her products before opening her first storefront in 1991. In response to customer demand, she opened her second store in 1994. We opened a third store in Sacramento in November 1998, and a store in Los Angeles, which are the prototype for future outlets. Plans are being made to open retail outlets in major cities over the next few years. We look forward to opening a store near you soon. Shari attributes our success to a quality product, customer service and promotional activities. Shari's hard work and diligence has paid off.
