The government sector is opening up to contractors and public servants. Look for jobs with the FBI on their web site. U.S. citizens have the edge in this market as the need for security clearances escalates. Is tai chi a safe exercise for pregnancy?By Dr. Keith JefferyWith your health care provider's permission, (there are some conditions in pregnancy which preclude exercise), tai chi can be terrific during pregnancy! As a male, I can only go by hearsay and testimonials, but I can tell you that many of my students found tai chi to be a soft, gentle, grounding and connecting form of exercise. The key is to be very aware of your response to the movement, and discontinue any exercise that causes discomfort. And be less aggressive during the movements. You might be best to begin with 4 Minute Fitness, in that the movements are easier to learn and practice (faster results), and the affirmations are very beneficial to you and to your baby. Then begin with Tai Chi for Busy People, a step at a time, no rush. And enjoy the process. Both videos can be purchased together at a special price. (Dynamic Duo)
Pregnancy is a very unique and special time. The
gentle full body movement, combined with deep
breathing and the profound meditative aspects make
Tai chi and 4 Minute Fitness the perfect exercise
routine for pregnancy. Do not start any exercise or diet program with out first consulting with your doctor.
